Oric International Products Ltd was formed by Tangerine Computer Systems in 1983 to create a product that could compete with the successful Sinclair ZX Spectrum. This computer was the Oric-1. It was followed by the Oric Atmos that was basically a Oric-1 with a real keyboard and a bug fixed ROM. The motherboards are even labeled as Oric-1! This computer was actually one of the candidates for my first home computer as it had pretty good specifications at the time and a relatively low price.
